The very first event where the
Love & Peace Project could get exposure was the annual Gem Show at the South
Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach, organized and promoted by the
Gem & Mineral Society of the Palm Beaches.
And what a success it was! The project grew by 35 beads or

Jack Stamper, who made it possible for the Love & Peace Project to
have a table there to display.
This event is memorable because it triggered the idea of
exposing the Project in order to gain entries for it.
At that time, the colors of the seed beads between the
dedicated beads matched the dedicated beads. In 2004 they all were
restrung with golden seed beads in order to bring out each individual
dedicated bead better.
the years the necklace evolved literally into a living entity on its
own. As it changed and adapted and grew, new design standards were
introduced for each separate section.
