For quite some time now, I've been using the local
And among all the posts and the
wonderful neighbors watching out for one another, there is indeed one
person who stands out.
It is Roberta O'Grady - someone who
I've never met, but who works tirelessly to reunite beloved pets with
their owners. Or she will spread the word about animals that were
lost. A cat that got outside and didn't come back, or a dog that ran
away to some other neighborhood.
All the heartbroken pet owners came to
appreciate Roberta. There isn't a day where she doesn't post about
someone's missing animal. She's got a heart as big as the entire
When there are no lost (or found!)
pets, she will post images of shelter animals who are in need of a
good home. And there are success stories aplenty.
Day, after day, after day.
Roberta's life seems to revolve about
animals, and she has done so much to bring comfort to their owners as
well. She lives right here in Palm Beach County, which makes it so
real, and so close to home.
A heart of gold for those who can
easily run out of options: our pets!
